2 In A Room was made up of rapper Dose and DJ Rog Nice, who also produced the groups’ music. They were a new kind of hip hop group that represented where the genre was headed, even though that type of hip hop was short lived. The two were Dominican and the music was sort of part house/techno and reminiscent of freestyle.

2 In A Room first made noise in 1989 with the UK release of the single Somebody In The House Say Yeah. This song reached number 66 on the UK Singles chart. They released Do What You Want in 1990 and the name 2 In A Room became more and more popular in big night clubs in major cities like New York & Chicago.

In late 1990, 2 In A Room had their biggest hit, Wiggle It. This was a great dance track, a club a favorite with a lot of radio play, though mostly in mix shows. 2 In A Room topped the Hot Dance Club Play chart two weeks in a row with Wiggle It and even hit number 3 on the UK Singles chart. With more and more radio play, Wiggle It  peaked at number 15 on Billboards Hot 100. Before changing their name to Fulanito and switching up to Spanish /Merengue music, Wiggle It would go on to sell over 500,000 copies reaching Gold by 1991.
